Boarding Dogs for Auburn University Families

We have boarded dogs for dozens of Auburn families over the years. We handled care for a professor's two Golden Retrievers during a research trip to Europe—three weeks of daily play sessions and medication for the older dog's arthritis. We provided last-minute boarding for a graduate student whose defense got moved up unexpectedly. Last fall, we cared for an engineering student's Shepherd mix every home game weekend because the noise and crowds stressed the dog out too much.

Whether you're faculty traveling for conferences, a student heading home for break, or staff dealing with family emergencies, we've handled it before.

Why Auburn University Pet Owners Choose Us

Close to Campus, Easy to Reach

We're located at 633 Chadwick Lane, just off South College Street—about a 10-minute drive from most campus locations. You can drop off your dog on your way to work and pick them up after your last class or meeting. We're open Monday through Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturdays 7am to noon, and we offer Sunday pickups from 8-8:30am and 4-5pm.

One of our regular clients, a biology professor, drops off her Australian Shepherd every Tuesday and Thursday before her 8am lecture. She picks him up on her way home and says he's always worn out and happy.

Game Day Weekend Specialists

Auburn football weekends are some of our busiest times. We've cared for dogs while their owners hosted tailgates at their homes, attended away games, or just needed their pup somewhere calm while campus went crazy. We recommend booking game weekends early—those dates fill up fast, especially for big rivalry games.

Last season, we boarded a family's two Labs for every single home game. The owners loved that they could focus on their guests without worrying about their dogs getting overwhelmed by the noise and crowds.

Perfect for Students Living Off-Campus

Many Auburn students living in apartments or rental homes near campus use us regularly. We've provided daycare for dogs whose owners have full class schedules. We've handled boarding when students travel home for holidays or spring break. We understand student budgets, which is why we keep our rates affordable—$26 per night for boarding, $15 per day for daycare—without cutting corners on care.

One student brings her Beagle mix to us three days a week for daycare while she's on campus all day. She says he comes home tired and happy, and she doesn't come home to chewed furniture anymore.

Real Situations We've Handled

Graduate Student Emergency

A PhD student called us the day before her dissertation defense. Her original pet sitter had canceled last minute, and she was panicking. We made room for her anxious rescue dog, gave him one-on-one attention since he didn't do well with other dogs, and sent her updates throughout the day so she could focus on her defense.

Faculty Research Travel

An Auburn professor needed care for her senior Lab while she attended a two-week conference overseas. The dog required medication twice daily and struggled with stairs. We administered his meds on schedule, gave him ground-level access to outdoor areas, and sent photo updates every other day.

Football Weekend Chaos

A family living near campus couldn't handle their energetic Aussie mix during Iron Bowl weekend with out-of-town guests staying at their house. We boarded the dog from Friday through Sunday, and he spent his days playing in our large fenced yard instead of being stressed by crowds and noise.

Student Going Home

A junior needed boarding every Thanksgiving and Christmas break. Her Terrier mix comes to us twice a year now, and she doesn't stress about finding last-minute care anymore. She books her dates as soon as she knows her flight schedule.
